Robin Lee Roberts, 58, went home to the big diamond in the sky on Thursday, July 26, 2012 in Lubbock. He was born September 30, 1953 in Lubbock. He married his high school sweetheart Susan Nunn on October 15, 1976.

Throughout his life he was actively involved in many organizations and made an impact in many people's lives. His number one love, besides his family and friends, was baseball. He was involved in Little League Baseball for more than 35 years and was instrumental in bringing Challenger League, a baseball program for disabled children, to Lubbock.

Robin will be greatly missed by his wife, Susan; children, Robert and wife Katie, Amanda and husband Wesley Wise; grandchildren, Cristian, Aidan, and soon to be Carter Lee; mother, Marjorie Whitfield; brother, Rodney and wife Mary; stepbrother, Mike Whitfield; stepsister, Patty Lewis. He was preceded in death by his father William "Red" Roberts and stepfather Howard Whitfield.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Agape Funeral Chapel. A celebration to honor Robin will be held Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at Southwest Little League Ballpark. A memorial fund has been established in his name at City Bank.
